Liquid Turbine Flowmeter

Liquid turbine flowmeter is a kind of precision measuring device. Used in combination with corresponding flow totalizer, it can be used to measure both flow rate and cumulative flow. The liquid flow measurement device is widely used for measurement and control purposes in fields such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, as well as scientific and research. If equipped with hygienic connectors, it can also be used in pharmaceutical industry.

1. Local display type liquid turbine flowmeter
This novel style of liquid turbine flowmeter is designed on the basis of advanced single chip microcomputer technology. It is often used in combination with flow sensors that support pulse signal output, such as the turbine flow sensor or vortex flow sensor. It can display both instantaneous flow rate and cumulative flow.

Cumulative flow: eight digits; three effective digits after the decimal point

Instantaneous flow rate: six digits; display the change of flow rate by liters

Display precision: ±1 display unit

Signal output: Pulse output: 1~3000Hz (External power supply: 12~24VDC)

Current output: 4~20mA (Parallel power supply system: 1. External power supply: 24VDC, two-wire system; 2. Two built-in 3V li-ion batteries )

When the voltage is lower than 2.7V, the liquid turbine flowmeter will offer undervoltage indications.

Explosion protection and small signal cut-off function.

2. Pulse output type liquid turbine flowmeter
Working voltage: 12VDC and 24VDC for option (before ordering, clients have to choose one of the power supply methods)

Signal transmission distance: less than 250 meters

Output signal: square wave

Signal amplitude: 10V (12VDC power supply), 20V (24VDC power supply)

Installation: M16×1.5 screw thread for connection of amplifier and turbine flow sensor. After mounting of the turbine flow sensor, put the amplifier onto the sensor. Firstly screw the amplifier by hand directly, and then fasten by tightening the locknut.

Wiring: The amplifier for this style of turbine flowmeter has three leading wires: the red one, white one and shield wire. The red wire should be connected with the positive power supply. The white wire should be connected with pulse output device or other display units. The shield wire should be ground connected.

3. 4~20mA output type liquid turbine flowmeter
Working voltage: external two-wire, 24VDC power supply system

Output signal: 4~20mA or 1-5V. 4mA corresponds to the minimum flow (zero) of turbine flow sensor. 20mA corresponds to the maximum flow of turbine flow sensor. The flow range is available on the nameplate of turbine flow sensor.

Signal transmission distance: less than 250 meters

Installation: After mounting of the turbine flow sensor, connect the amplifier and the sensor using M16×1.5 screw thread. Firstly screw by hand directly, and then fasten by tightening the locknut.

Wiring: The amplifier for this style of turbine flowmeter has red and white leading wires. The read one is power wire, and the white one is the signal wire.

4. Split style remote display type liquid turbine flowmeter
Working voltage: 220VAC external power supply
Signal transmission distance: less than 250 meters
Display digits: four-digits for instantaneous flow rate display; nine-digits for cumulative flow display
Display size: horizontal type: 160mm×80mm; vertical type: 80mm×160mm
The display unit has 4-20mA output function and supports connection with computers
